Photo and film requests
You need permission to take photos or film recordings:
- of HTM trams and buses
- of RandstadRail stops from The Hague Central Station in the direction of Zoetermeer and vice versa.
- inside the Central station hall
It is NOT allowed to take photos or film recordings in the The Hague tram tunnel.
For taking photographs or filming on the 'public road' no permission is required, HTM has over a thousand stops for its trams and buses in the Hague region. Most of these stops are part of the 'public road'.
The granting of permission depends on the type of request and a number of aspects such as safety, privacy of passengers and/or employees. Taking photos or film recording should never interfer with the timetable and/or HTM operations.
In all events, please take into account:
- Do not obstruct our travellers or the tram or bus timetable;
Do not interview HTM employees or showing them on camera against their will.

Our customer service staff can be reached via Facebook and Twitter or by phone on 0900 - 486 4636 (usual call charges) from Monday to Friday from 08.00 - 20.00, on Saturday from 09.00 - 17.00 and on Sunday from 09.00 - 17.00. Questions about travel information, travel rules, queries and/or complaints, fines and/or objections are not answered through our spokespersons.
Sponsor requests
Do you or your organisation also care about The Hague society and are you looking for sponsorship?
HTM will consider sponsorship if a number of criteria are met and if the sponsorship involves (small-scale) initiatives that have a social impact.
We only commit our brand to sponsorship if it makes a demonstrable, positive contribution to HTM's image and shows the connection between The Hague region and HTM.
