Social security
HTM has Special Investigating Officers, security personnel and public transport stewards who monitor social security in our trams and buses and at the stops. At HTM we take safety seriously. All passengers must be able to travel safely and feel safe at the stops. These HTM employees play an important part in the safety of our passengers every day.
Special Investigating Officer
The Special Investigating Officer checks tickets and is authorised to issue fines.
Public transport steward
Public transport stewards help travellers with questions about travel options and/or diversions.
Customer service representative
Customer service staff help travellers in our service shops and by phone about travel options, travel products and answer questions.
