HTM 20% Discount

• HTM 20% Discount is only available for travel by debit card. If you travel with a personal public transport chip card, choose the discount product HTM Monthly Discount.

• HTM 20% Discount is linked to one payment card. During purchase, choose the debit card you will be traveling with (physical debit card or mobile debit card).

• It is the user's responsibility to link the new pass to HTM 20% Discount in a timely manner in case of pass replacement so that you continue to travel with discount. HTM is not responsible for any missed discount. Be aware that banks can change your mobile payment card without informing you. It is therefore preferable to link HTM 20% Discount to your physical debit card.

• If you travel with multiple travel products on your payment card, only one travel product will be applied to the fare calculation. HTM cannot guarantee that this is the most advantageous travel product for you. It is the responsibility of the traveler to avoid unnecessary product overlap.

• HTM 20% Discount purchase easily at htm.co.uk.

• When ordering through htm.co.uk, the statutory cooling-off period of 14 calendar days applies. Those 14 days start the day after the day you bought HTM 20% Discount. Within the reflection period you can cancel HTM 20% Discount. Once you have indicated to HTM that you wish to use the cancellation period, HTM will block the travel product and refund the purchase price. Any discount you have enjoyed must be repaid to HTM and will be offset by HTM against the purchase amount. Discount is the difference between the discount fare you paid and the fare you would have paid without using HTM 20% Discount.

• HTM 20% Discount is active from your chosen start date. The duration is one month and ends automatically.

• Are you entitled to age discount? Then you will receive 20% discount on the reduced fare that already includes the age discount. Age discount applies at HTM only to passengers aged 4 to 11 or 65 and older who have added age discount to their pass. Learn more about adding age discount to your pass at www.ovpay.nl.

• You pay a fixed monthly fee for HTM 20% Discount. You can find the current monthly amount in our rates overview, which can be viewed at htm.nl/rates.

• HTM is entitled to adjust the HTM 20% Discount rates annually within the framework of the MRDH Fare Ordinance.

• You should always check in and out with your payment card on public transport, otherwise you will not have a valid ticket.
• HTM 20% Discount gives you 20% discount on streetcar and bus travel with HTM, with the exception of HTM Nachtbus. HTM 20% Discount does not work with other public transport companies.
• You only travel with a discount with HTM when you have checked in and out during the trip with the payment card linked to HTM 20% Discount.
• The discount is calculated over the fare that consists of a basic fare plus a fare per traveled kilometer. If you travel with an age-related reduced fare, the discount is calculated over the reduced fare.
• When transferring to or from another carrier, the discount does not apply to the part of the journey with the other carrier. If you switch within 35 minutes, you only pay the basic fare once.
• If you have an HTM account, you will find an overview of your order, your trips and travel expenses, made with HTM 20% Discount. The travel expenses incurred are debited afterwards from the payment account to which HTM 20% Discount is linked.
• If a check-out is missing for a trip that was made, you can correct this via OVpay.nl. When the missed check-out is corrected, you will receive the corrected ride back and you will also find it on the payment statement in your HTM account.
• Every public transport journey with HTM is subject to the General Terms and Conditions of City and Regional Transport. In addition, the following terms and conditions also apply:

Amendments to product terms and conditions

• HTM is entitled to amend its terms and conditions. The latest version of these terms and conditions applies to HTM 20% Discount and is published on the website.
• HTM may terminate HTM 20% Discount with immediate effect if continuation can no longer reasonably be expected of HTM due to changed circumstances.
