What is the Haagse Hopper?
The Haagse Hopper is a flexible means of public transport for whenever you want. The minibus runs between Benoordenhout and the centre of The Hague. You use the Ride Pingo app to book where you want to get on and off; there’s no fixed timetable. On the way, other people may get on and off too. We have space to carry eight passengers.

- Go to the stop you stated when you booked and pay the driver for the trip. Please note: you can only pay by PIN.
- Get on the bus and be taken to the stop of your choice.

- Create an account in the app and log in.
- Enter your destination. From your location, the app looks for a trip with the nearest departure stop.
- In the trip offered, you can see when you will be collected from the stop.
- Go to the departure stop. The bus will come along at the time given. Please note: the time might change a little.
- Show the ticket number to the driver and buy your ticket.

Can I cancel my account?
Yes, you can.
- Go to the menu bar at the top left of the app.
- Click on View Profile then on Delete Account.
- The account is now deleted.

How do I book a trip?

What are the Haagse Hopper’s departure times?
The Haagse Hopper has no fixed departure times. Via the app, you book a seat on the bus within a time period of 10 minutes. The bus arrives at the stop at the time given in the Ride Pingo app .

When can I use the Haagse Hopper?
You can travel with The Haagse Hopper on weekdays between 07:00 and 21:00 o'clock and on Saturdays and public holidays between 12:00 and 24:00 o'clock.*
* The Haagse Hopper is not available on Sundays, except for public holidays.

The Haagse Hopper is not wheelchair accessible. If you use a manual or electric wheelchair, you should use Regiotaxi Haaglanden or AV070.

What is the minimum age for children to travel without guidance?
There is no minimum age for children to travel with the Haagse Hopper. Please keep in mind: the parent/ caregiver is responsible for the child. The driver will not check seatbelts or when you need to get out of the bus.

Do I have to pay for young children, when they sit on someone's lap?
Everyone who travels with the Haagse Hopper has to have their own ticket, no matter what age they are or if they sit on someones lap.
Children from 0 to 2 years old can sit on the lap of their parents, but they always have to have their own seat aswell.

The driver only waits for one minute at the stop. If you aren’t present at the stop, the booking is cancelled and the bus drives away.
