Haagse Hopper

The Haagse Hopper is a flexible means of public transport for whenever you want. The minibus runs between Benoordenhout and the centre of The Hague. You use the Ride Pingo app to book where you want to get on and off; there’s no fixed timetable. On the way, other people may get on and off too. We have space to carry eight passengers.

The Haagse Hopper is for everyone who wants to travel on public transport. There's no need to become a member or apply to the municipality.

The Haagse Hopper has no fixed departure times. Via the app, you book a seat on the bus within a time period of 10 minutes. The bus arrives at the stop at the time given in the Ride Pingo app .

You can travel with The Haagse Hopper on weekdays between 07:00 and 21:00 o'clock and on Saturdays and public holidays between 12:00 and 24:00 o'clock.*

* The Haagse Hopper is not available on Sundays, except for public holidays.

The Haagse Hopper is not wheelchair accessible. If you use a manual or electric wheelchair, you should use Regiotaxi Haaglanden or AV070.

You can follow the bus in real time in the Ride Pingo app . You can also see the bus’s expected arrival time.

There is no minimum age for children to travel with the Haagse Hopper. Please keep in mind: the parent/ caregiver is responsible for the child. The driver will not check seatbelts or when you need to get out of the bus.

Everyone who travels with the Haagse Hopper has to have their own ticket, no matter what age they are or if they sit on someones lap.

Children from 0 to 2 years old can sit on the lap of their parents, but they always have to have their own seat aswell.

The Haagse Hopper costs you €1.50 for a single journey. Buy your ticket on the bus.

If no travel options are offered, all the seats on the Haagse Hopper for the required time are already booked. Please try again later.

The driver only waits for one minute at the stop. If you aren’t present at the stop, the booking is cancelled and the bus drives away.
